Haryana Panchayat Election Dates 2015 for 3 Phases: Haryana State Election Commission has announced the Haryana Panchayat Election Date 2015 / schedule for the conduct of elections of Members of all Zila Parishads (except Sonipat) for the election of Panches, Sarpanches and Members of Panchayat Samitis (1st, 2nd and 3rd Phase) for the election of Panches, Sarpanches, Members of Panchayat Samitis and Zila Parishads in and the names of Gram Panchayats and Panchayat Samitis where the election is not being held. Haryana Government has also passed a bill under which candidates for panchayat elections in the state will have 10th pass or required Qualifications and fulfil other conditions. With this, Haryana became the second state after BJP ruled Rajasthan to fix educational and other qualifications for the candidates contesting Panchayat elections.

Haryana Zila Parishads Election Date 2015:
1. Date on which notice shall be published by the District Election Officer : 9th September 2015.
2. Dates on which Nomination papers shall be presented: 15th September to 19th September 2015.
3. Date by which Affidavit/declaration shall be furnished: 15th September to 19th September 2015.
4. Last date for withdrawal of candidature: 24th September 2015
5. Date on which the polling held: 4th October 2015 (Sunday) 1st Phase, 11th October 2015 (Sunday), 2nd Phase and 18th October 2015 (Sunday), 3rd Phase.

Haryana Panches, Sarpanches and Panchayat Samitis Date 2015:

Haryana set 10th pass qualification for Panchayati Raj election 2015

Haryana assembly on Monday passed a bill under which candidates for panchayat elections in the state will have to ensure academic qualifications and fulfil other conditions. With this, Haryana became the second state after Rajasthan to fix educational and other qualifications for the candidates contesting Panchayat elections. Under the new bill, contesting candidates will require a minimum qualification of matriculation (Class 10). Scheduled caste and women cabdidates will require middle pass (class 8) qualification and women candidates from scheduled caste category will have to be at least class 5 pass. The bill was passed on the last day of the assembly`s monsoon session amid a walkout by the opposition Congress legislators.
Haryana government has also made it compulsory for candidates filing their nominations in the upcoming panchayat elections to obtain a no objection certificate (NOC) from the electricity department to prove that they don't owe any dues. The officials feel that the move would help to expedite recovery of outstanding electricity bills in rural areas.

Haryana passes bill to abolish Police Recruitment Board

Haryana legislative Assembly has passed Haryana Police (Amendment) Bill, 2015 to abolish the Police Recruitment Board in order to end the nepotism in the police recruitments in the state. Provisions of the bill Gazetted posts in the police service would be filled through Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC). Direct recruitment to various non-gazetted ranks in the police service would be filled through the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). The Bill was mooted by State government led by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to follow up its commitment of transparent and merit-based selections in the government jobs.

PM Modi inaugurates Badarpur-Faridabad Metro

PM Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated the Delhi-Faridabad Metro Line that would allow hassle free travel for around two lakh daily commuters between the national capital and the industrial hub in Haryana. Meanwhile, addressing a press conference in Faridabad on Saturday, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar thanked the Prime Minister for gifting the Metro service which would take the city to another level of progress with better connectivity with other NCR towns. Elaborating on financial details of the Faridabad Metro, Khattar said, the total cost of the project from Badarpur to Escorts Mujesar was to the tune of Rs 2,500 crore. Out of this, Rs 1,557 crore has been borne by the Haryana Government, Centre contributed Rs 537 crore while Delhi Metro provided and amount of Rs 400 crore, the CM said.
